Established in 2003, Tmesis has grown to become one of the UK’s leading physical theatre companies, working with over 300 participants every year and playing to audiences locally and nationally. We rely on funding, ticket sales and support to be able to keep making quality work, offer participatory and training opportunities to young people, and to create opportunities for emerging artists through workshops, bursaries, mentoring and platforms for new work.

Tmesis are supported through project grants from Arts Council England and receive funding from Liverpool City Council.
