We have worked with higher educational establishments throughout the UK & abroad, sharing our specialised skills in physical theatre, ensemble work and devising.

We can run 1/2 day and full day workshops and create devised, ensemble performance projects,  or adaptions of text, that can be tailored to support teaching and module delivery.

We have collaborated with numerous educational establishments on productions including Salford University, LIPA, Fourth Monkey, Cronton College, The Arden,  Coventry University, and most recently in May 2022 with ESMAE drama school in Porto, Portugal to create an ensemble, outdoor theatre piece.

‘Having Eli and Tmesis at The Arden to work with our third year Theatre and Performance students was a fantastic and beneficial experience; our students were supported to reach an outstanding level of performance that in some cases was just not anticipated. The environment she created was professional and intensive, yet also enjoyable, and the student feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.’

Dr Wayne Steven Jackson – Head of  Theatre & Performance- The Arden

“Our final year BA theatre and professional practice students had a fantastic time working with Tmesis. Eli provided a perfect balance of teaching, creative collaboration, mentoring and artistic direction across the ‘U(s)topia project. She encouraged and inspired the students to create work of a very high standard as emerging theatre-makers, and we are very proud that this particular project marked our course contribution to Coventry’s ‘City of Culture 2021’ programme.”

Glenn Noble- Senior Lecturer- Coventry University

The process was an amazing journey for all involved. We loved the show and the integration of current topics into the teaching and devising work is just what we want for our students to understand about the relevance and immediacy of live theatre. The blend of action, music and theatre was perfect for this project and will inspire many more works to come, I am sure.
